Devon Adams serves as the Community Engagement Director at Collective Justice, where he works to amplify the voices of people on all sides of harm and foster community healing. With over 20 years of leadership in organizations like the Black Prisoners Caucus and Concerned Lifers Organization, he has built bridges between prisons and communities, creating opportunities for transformative programming. He is a graduate of Ohio University through the University Beyond Bars program. Devon also co-created and completed Collective Justice’s restorative justice circle HEAL (Healing Education for Accountability and Liberation. Drawing from his lived experience and training, he is dedicated to engaging youth and community members in restorative practices, promoting healing, accountability, and safer communities.
