Tally (she/they) is excited and honored to join the Collective Justice team as an Intern this 2021-2022 year. She joins Collective Justice for her field placement in the Masters in Social Work program at University of Washington to learn and contribute to the powerful, community-centered work she looks up to. She is a white, trans/non-binary organizer, activist and abolitionist living on Occupied Duwamish Land, grounded in and surrounded by Community/Mutual Aid projects such as: Stop the Sweeps, Mutual Aid Books, FFUD and so much more! She has additionally facilitated group counseling and care work for trans youth and adults for the last two years with several trans-centered organizations. As a survivor, she believes that people in right relationship to community can transform our understanding of care, move us away from systematic harm and punishment, and heal from the harms we have felt and caused.
